It has been quite interesting working as a teacher at different levels for different courses for more than twelve years. That priceless experience is helping me now in my interpersonal skills in other duties and responsibilities I am assuming.

Now I am working as an advisor for Public Relations Communications and events planning and management for an international development organizations. I am loving its. I am mostly indebted to my employers for the opportunity they are giving me to create, implement and evaluate my activities.

the opportunity to travel is also another asset that I am enjoying for working for my company. I am sure this is going to be the most productive moment in my life.

Customer Service Delivery training

I am enjoying the opportunity of facilitating a training entitled Customer Service Delivery to the deprived line staff of the Ministry of Education of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.

The training is a big success not for concepts and principles discussed but for the opportunity that the participants enjoyed to express their views and ideas.

I am loving the idea of bottom-up approach in facilitating trainings even at the level of line staff in organizations. It is helping myself and the participants to reflect on our previous experiences, reflect in what is going on and reflect for the future endeavour. So who says this is not a reflective practice. I am sure things are changing in the training sphere of the civil service of the country.

Thanks guys please keep it up

The experience sharing with the office of Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia (MoFA) was a great success.
Relevant issues that I gained from my visit were:

  1. Estimation of the timing for a press conference
  2. addressing interests of different media outlets
  3. organizing the setting of conference rooms
  4. Predicting questions that could be raised by journalists
I appreciate the support of my trainees from Coaching and Mentioning Training I provided for senior staff of the ministry.

A training on GC focusing on creating Schools Partnerships

Connecting Classrooms Program
Schools Partnerships

I handled an inspiring training on Global Citizenship and Schools Partnership for directors and teachers from 15 schools in Ethiopia.

It was exciting that the participants enjoyed the discussion and contributed a lot. thanks to the British Council.

We have also completed on-line membership form on Schoolsonline website of the British Council. All of the schools are aspiring to have partnerships with other schools mainly from England.

All are now registered on Schoolsonline. They will get their username and password form the administrators. Finally they will apply for school partnership on the same website.

Today Mr. Alemayehu Tessema, Director of Mojo Preparatory School has informed me that he has got his user name and password.

He has embarked on his application for schools partnership.

Good luck to him.
